How do you get to the John Knox International Reformed Center ? By car or by bus ? From the airport or the train station ? It is very simple… 

You will find here the main bus schedule and destination as well as a map of Geneva which will help you locate the Center. If needed, one can also find online the complete bus information (iwww.tpg.ch).

By car

Coming  from the freeway:

  • Exit -GRAND-SACONNEX-FERNEY- follow Grand-Saconnex until the Center of the village –PLACE CARANTEC- at the red light, get into the left lane. Turn left and immediately turn right on -CHEMIN AUGUSTE VILBERT- go up the hill then follow the signs – CENTRE JOHN KNOX -

In short: Exit Grand-Saconnex-Ferney - Grand-Saconnex Center- left at red light- then turn right- up the hill chemin Auguste Vilbert- follow arrows ‘til the Center.

Coming from the town:

  • Follow PLACE DES NATIONS then direction PREGNY. In Pregny village, turn left on CHEMIN PALUD, then left again on CHEMIN DES CRETS DE PREGNY- 150m up the hill, the Center will be on your right.

In short:  Place des Nations – Pregny village – left – left


By taxi or bus 

From the airport :

  • Taxi : about 10 minutes ride. The cost is around CHF 25 + luggage

  • Bus no 28 (direction 'JARDIN BOTANIQUE', about 11 minutes ride):     Get off at the bus stop
    VY-DES-CHAMPS, cross the street and go up the foot path CHEMIN DE LA RIOLE – at the church turn right on CHEMIN DES CRETS DE PREGNY, follow this road to the Center. About 10 min walk from the bus stop. The cost of the bus ticket is about CHF 3.-

  • Bus n° 5 direction 'HOPITAL' bus stop GRAND-SACONNEX PLACE – go through the parking lot, then up CHEMIN AUGUSTE VILBERT - go up the hill to the stop sign, cross the road then follow the signs – CENTRE JOHN KNOX – About 15 min walk from the bus stop.

From the train station :

  • Taxi: about 10 minutes ride. The cost is around CHF 20 + luggage
  • Bus : The cost of the bus ticket about CHF 3.-

    Bus F (about 10 minutes ride) direction  FERNEY-MAIRIE/GEX-ZAC, bus stop VY-DES-CHAMPS. Go up the foot path CHEMIN DE LA RIOLE at the church turn right on CHEMIN DES CRETS DE PREGNY follow this road to the Center.– About 10 min walk from the bus stop.

    Bus n°8 (week days until 23h30)(about 15 minutes ride)  direction OMS / WHO. Get off at WHO, back track to the end of the parking, go up the foot path CHEMIN DE LA RIOLE at the church turn right on CHEMIN DES CRETS DE PREGNY follow this road to the Center. About 10 min walk from the bus stop.
  • Bus n° 5 (about 20 minutes ride) direction AIRPORT bus stop GRAND-SACONNEX PLACE – go through the parking lot, then up CHEMIN AUGUSTE VILBERT - go up the hill to the stop sign, cross the road then follow the signs – CENTRE JOHN KNOX – About 15 min walk from the bus stop.

 

From the center of town :

  • Bus n° 5 (about 20 minutes ride) direction AIRPORT bus stop GRAND-SACONNEX PLACE – go through the parking lot, then up CHEMIN AUGUSTE VILBERT - go up the hill to the stop sign, cross the road then follow the signs – CENTRE JOHN KNOX – About 15 min walk from the bus stop.
